Over the past two (2) months, members from the Penn Hills and Verona VFD have had a few “work parties” at the fire academy to finish a few projects before Phase 2 started.Phase 2 Modifications to the fire academy will begin in the end of September 2020. Phase 2 will consist of a 4 story steel exterior fire escape, fall restraint safety, and rooftop repelling station. Thank you to all that support the Fire Academy and the Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Companies. Without that support, these projects would not be possible.
